July Prayers

July 1

We cannot thank You enough for Your presence in our lives. You are right here with us as Your name, Immanuel says. Thank You for never leaving us. Amen

July 2

Lord God, You have redeemed every sin of our past. We humbly thankfully accept Your gift of salvation. We look to You as You are our great hope for the future and rest with excitement for what You have in store for us. Amen

July 3

Father some of us walk into our churches and shame fills our hearts. For our pasts can be so ugly. We start to think no one here is as bad as me. The fight begins inside of us. Satan on one side accusing and the Holy Spirit reminding us that our sins are washed away. Oh Lord remind us continually that we are not what we used to be. We are a new creation. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord, help us to choose thoughts of faith and hope each day. Renew our minds and shape our actions. Guide us into the life and You have prepared for us. We ask in Jesus’ name. Amen

July 5

Lord our God, we choose to put on Your armor. Strengthen our faith, renew our minds, and help us to stand firm against every attack as we trust in Your Word. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

July 6

Father thank You for all of the opportunities You have given us to grow. Give us a positive attitude especially when we go through challenges. Help us to remember that it is through these trials that we will become what we should be, what You created us to be. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord, help us receive Your unconditional love. Teach our hearts to believe we are Your beloved. That we are secure in Your care. In Jesus’ name, amen.

July 8

Father God, sometimes things don’t make sense to us, but we so want to be in Your will. Help us to develop discernment, and not miss a divine opportunity to serve You. Teach us to trust You more and help us to obey You quickly instead of trying to reason things out. Thank You for hearing us today. Amen

Heavenly Father, help us not to look at our weaknesses, but to walk in the peace and joy of knowing we are created in Your image, a reflection, and representation of You, the Almighty God. Amen

July 10

Lord God, help us to accept when You say no and to be obedient. Forgive us when we complain that what we wanted isn’t what You allowed. If only we would remember and believe, everything You do or don’t is for our good. In the name of Jesus we ask. Amen

Father, help us not to be ruled by our emotions but to live by Your truths. Teach us to follow Your Word, control our actions, and live by truth instead of feelings. Amen

God Almighty, there are some of us who are waiting for You to unite us with the person You have chosen. May we trust and rest in the waiting and may we be prepared to walk together in the love, agreement, and power of a Christ-centered relationship. Amen

Lord God Almighty, You are our Healer and the lifter of our heads. Touch every part of us and heal every broken place so that we may walk in wholeness with renewed strength and the joy of the Lord. Amen

Father, give us the wisdom to understand the needs of our children. May we be patient and compassionate parents. That we may provide a safe and nurturing home environment. May we be the examples of Your love and righteousness to lead our children into the knowledge of You. Amen

July 15

Faithful Father, we put our faith in You, for You have never failed. Help us to remain steadfast in the face of all life’s trials. When we are confronted with what seems impossible, show Yourself strong that You may be glorified. In Jesus’ name, amen.

July 16

Heavenly Father, teach us how to pray for our spouses, to forgive them and to listen and discern their hearts so that we may minister to them in a way that will draw them closer to You and strengthen our marriages. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord, help us to trust Your purpose for our lives. Strengthen our faith to follow You wholeheartedly, even in challenges and lead us into the fullness of the life You have for us. Amen

Father, we are so humbled that You have given us Your Word so that we can grow closer to You. Thank You for promising to always be with me. Amen

July 19

Lord our God help us stay alert and guard our hearts. Strengthen us to resist temptation, take every thought captive, and rely on You to overcome every attack of the enemy. In the name of Jesus we ask. Amen

Lord, help us accept and appreciate how You created us. Teach us to trust Your purpose for our life and to celebrate who we are in You. Amen

Lord, thank You for Your forgiveness. Help us take responsibility and repent quickly. Teach us to release the guilt of our sins and walk in Your righteousness. Free us from condemnation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord this prayer we are praying now is an S.O.S. Lord we are crying out, help. Some of us feel like we are drowning, life has become so difficult. Reach down from Heaven Lord and hold us close. Amen

Thank You, Jesus, for teaching us to forgive so we can be healed and set free from emotional pain that some of us carry. Take this from us Lord we ask. Amen

Lord God, we choose You as the leader of our lives. Help us to follow hard after You with our whole being. May these words be true as this is our desire, but our flesh gets in the way. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Father, help us to worship You before we ever ask You to do anything for us. Forgive us when we come before You with a list of wants instead of worship. Give us hearts that worship You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

Lord help us to accept Your discipline and trust Your correction. Teach us to listen to Your still small voice in every circumstance. That we would grow stronger as You guide us in Your truth. Amen

Father, help us remember Your promise that the testing of our faith produces perseverance, and there is a purpose in all of our sufferings. Help us to learn this and rejoice. In the name of Jesus, amen.

God our Father, thank You for opening our eyes to the gospel and showing us our desperate need for a Savior. We ask that You do the same for those we know who have yet to accept You. I know You are the only one who can make that change in them as You did in us. Amen

Father, we pray that You would give us a heart for others and that we would grow in our love for those whom You have put in our lives. Please show us who You want us to reach out to, to encourage and love on. Please help us to be willing vessels. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Father we praise and thank You for all You have done in our lives. You have been so merciful to us. You are the Father of mercies, the God of all comfort, and the One who gives all blessings. Help us to be aware of You today and to be thankful for all You have done. We offer sacrifices of praise to You today with a joyful heart. Amen and amen.

Heavenly Father, You are creator of all things, including us. Forgive us for praying and living like we know better than You. Father, let the desires of Your heart become the desires of ours. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen
