July Prayers
July 1
Father forgive us when we engulf ourselves in books that speak of You and not into the Bible. When we put more importance on other’s opinions instead of testing them with Your word. Lord may Your word take precedence over all books in our lives. In Jesus’ name amen.
July 2
Thank You Lord, for when we are broken over situations, others or sins. You always show Yourself strong. Amen
July 3
Father increase our sense of needing You. Forgive us when we reach out to others or use other ways when we are in need of help. We can so easily run to these instead of You. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
July 4
Lord thank You for this nation that we live in. We pray You bless this country and bring us back to the foundation this was built on. We know You have been merciful and have kept us. Bring a revival to the United States. In Jesus’ name amen.

O Lord God, how wonderful it is to get to know You. How beautiful are Your words. How loving and kind beyond measure You are. We are humbled and thankful. Amen

Father, cause our hearts to love You more. Cause our minds to be focused on You. Cause our flesh to die to self. Cause our lives to be devoted to You all of our days. Cause our lips to praise and worship You. In the name of Jesus we pray.

Lord, give us the spirit of repentance. That we would quickly sense the conviction and turn from our sin. That we would recognize what we have done and run and confess our sin, and be restored in Your righteousness. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Father, renew our minds. Align them with Yours. May we see what You see. May we think like You think. As You renew our minds, fill us with wisdom and discernment to make good choices. In the name of Jesus we pray.

Father change our desires to want what You want. Do not allow us to have peace when our desires are those of worldly ways and things. In Jesus’ name we ask. Amen

Lord God, help us to see people through the lens of Your love. So that we also can extend mercy and Grace to those around us. In the name of Jesus we pray.
July 11
Lord, increase our faith as we study Your word. Help us to trust Your word, to live by faith and not by sight. May the truth of Your word shape our beliefs and walk. In Jesus’ name we pray.
July 12
Lord, we submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit. Open our spiritual eyes to see where we are lacking in our walk so that we may bring You honor and glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray.
July 13
Lord God, reveal to us what is truly in our hearts. Show us the things that take Your place in our worship. May we recognize these and turn our worship to You only. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Father, thank You for the power of Your name. Thank You for the beauty of Your name. May we use Your name in honor and reverence and to glorify You. In Jesus’ name we pray.

Lord God, help us to take the time to sit down and rest in You. To make the Sabbath Day Holy unto You. Help us to understand how important and needed it is to rest. For this day You have made Holy. Amen

Father we confess that so many times we trust our own strength and not Yours. So many times we rely on ourselves and forget that You are with us. Amen
July 17
Heavenly Father, we pray for our parents or those You have placed in our lives that are like parents to us. We pray You bless them and keep them. We pray for those who are not saved, may they come to know You. We ask that You help us to honor them in words and deeds. In the name of Jesus we pray.
July 18
O Lord, help us to speak Your word with boldness. Give us the strength and fearlessness like those of the Bible. Remove any shyness or fear that can build up and stop us in our tracks from sharing the gospel. In the mighty name of Jesus we ask. Amen

Dear Lord we praise You for being our strength and our shield. We praise You for You are our help in our troubles. We praise You for Your greatness. For being our rock and our Savior. Lord we praise Your Holy name. Amen
July 20
Reveal to us Lord, any anger or bitterness we are holding onto. Help us to forgive those who have hurt us and see what we have done to hurt them. Remove the poison that is anger and bitterness, we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen
July 21
Dear Father, help us to distinguish between what is good and what is best. There are things in our lives that are good, maybe a TV program, or taking a walk, reading the newspaper. But these aren’t best Lord, when we haven’t spent our time sitting at Your feet in prayer or reading Your word first. Help us to choose the best first. In the name of Jesus we ask. Amen
July 22
Father forgive us when we look upon things that are sinful. Forgive us when we choose to listen to things that are sinful. Help us to guard our eyes and ears from these and ask for self control to stay away from these sinful practices. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
July 23
Father let the words of our mouths and the thoughts in our minds be pleasing to You. Help us to tame our tongues and take captive our thoughts and place them under the subjection of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
July 24
Lord God, You are all that we need, You are more than enough, but there are times our flesh can covet what we don’t have. Our fleshly desires can turn to believing we need more than what we have. Father forgive us when we allow ourselves to believe such lies. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
July 25
Lord we come before You on our knees asking for Your mercy. We are seeking Your deliverance for our children, those who have lived in our homes, raised in the church and yet have chosen to walk away and live in the belief that their choices are not sin. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen
July 26
Lord forgive us for the divisions we may have caused. Words we may have spoken, that caused a rift in relationships. Words that have caused one person to go against another. Lord, give us the strength to make things right. In the name of Jesus we pray.
July 27
Remind us Lord how important it is to sit at Your feet. Remind us that good deeds can wait until we have spent our time with You. We can have a list of “to do’s”, and choose to do those first, neglecting our time with You that is much more important. In the name of Jesus we pray.
July 28
Father forgive us when we get caught up in gossip. Help us not to judge or accept what we hear as truth. Give us wisdom and discernment when others are spoken about. Keep us from listening to lies. In the name of Jesus we pray.
July 29
Dear Lord, thank You for our futures, for they are in You. Help us to forget the past and press on toward the goal You have set before us. The plans that You have for each one of us. In the name of Jesus we pray.
July 30
Father, place Your hand on Israel and Your people. Protect them from their enemies, there and abroad. Oh but You are the mightiest of the mighty. You are the only one who has the power to save. We call upon Your name for the peace of Israel. Amen
July 31
Blessed Lord, we give You praise. Praise, thanksgiving and worship for who You are and for all that You have done in our lives. For Your love You have poured out upon us. For the gift of the Holy Spirit. Amen!
