January Prayers
January 1
We thank You Father, that You love us just as we are. We know that You are working in our lives to bring positive change, but we thank You that You still love us and accept us in the process. Thank You for Your grace that allows us to come to You just as we are. Amen

Lord, help us to stay patient and diligent while You build a strong foundation in our lives. Teach us to trust Your timing and be thankful for each step. May we surrender totally to Your will. In Jesus’ name we pray.

Oh Lord, may You truly be the one our souls love. Lord we so desire to love You beyond anyone or anything. Change our hearts Lord, give us hearts totally devoted to You. In the name of Jesus. Amen

Lord there can be such foolishness in our hearts. Those things that we let carry us away. Fill us with Your counsel we pray and guide us with Your merciful hands. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord God, give us eyes to see the things You want us to see. The hands to do the things You want us to do. The feet to go where You want us to go. We can get so caught up in this life, that we let Your things slip by, and we miss out on the blessings. In the name of Jesus we pray.

Remind us Lord that nothing is wasted in the waiting. That You make all things work for good, and nothing is too far gone for You to restore back to life. Help us with our unbelief. Help us to holdfast. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord God, thank You for when we are alone with You, You transforms us. Your presence changes us inside and out. Oh that we would make it a constant to set that time apart to be with You alone. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Father, help us always to remember that You are good and that Your love endures forever. Help us never to doubt this, no matter how difficult my circumstances may be. In the name of Jesus we pray.

Father, we love You, and are ever grateful for all You have done for us. Help us to be generous to others as a way of thanking You for Your goodness in our lives. In the name of Jesus. Amen

Lord God, thank You for giving us the gift of discipline and self-control and help us to use it at all times, as we can so easily fall back into our old ways. In Jesus' name we pray.

Thank You Jesus, for paying the price necessary to forgive our sins and set us free from guilt. Today, we choose to walk in what You have provided for us. Amen

Father, thank You for the privilege of prayer. You allow us to come boldly to Your throne of Grace, before You a holy God. Teach us to pray confidently and boldly, knowing that You love us. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Oh Lord, give us ideas on how to meet others' needs. How to serve them. Give us the provisions we need to minister to those around us. in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord, show us what distractions are keeping us from seeking You. Reveal to us any barriers that are keeping us from drawing closer to You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Father, we surrender all our brokenness to You. Lord wherever there is brokenness, on our hearts, minds, bodies, spirits. Take it away and make us whole again. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord, please give us Your joy as our strength as we wait for Your timing, while we wait for Your answers. No matter what we see hear or feel, remind us that You have good things in store for us. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Lord some of us have made a mess with our finances. Forgive us for not being good stewards with the blessings You have given us. Set out feet on the right path to do better. For You are the owner of all that we have. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

Lord give us the desire to store up treasures in heaven and leave the treasures of this world to this world. You provide for all our needs, and even bless us with our wants, we do not need anything other than You. Amen

Forgive us Lord when we take Your name lightly, when we lessen the power and Holiness of Your name. For Your name is above all names. We shall praise Your name and Your name only… Jesus… Jesus. Amen

Father raise up men to be godly examples for our children. Men of character and honor. Men who are warriors of worship. Raise up women to be godly examples for our daughters. To be gentle, kind and wise. Lovers of Your word. Raise up our children to be obedient to their parents, to honor them. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen

Jesus, help us to remember that apart from You, we can do nothing, and that we must place our confidence in You alone. Amen

Lord, prune what hinders us and let Your fire purify our hearts so we may grow in righteousness and bear lasting fruit that glorifies You. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Lord, help us to set our minds firmly on Your truth. Keep us steady in our thoughts, open to grow in Your truth and resistant to anything that pulls us away from You. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Father when our children are grown up they may walk away from You. When our hearts are breaking, help us to remember Your words “Bring them me.” Today we raise them up to You and their future in the name of Jesus, amen.

Lord, we confess that we often don’t treat You as Your holiness deserves. Oh, that we would know how to stand in reverence, because You are the God who dwells in Spirit and in truth and so often we fail to reverence You, as we should. Forgive us Lord, amen.
January 26
Thank You God, for remaining true and holy. This world is increasing in immortality and impurity. You have not changed. In this we take such comfort and all fear runs away. Amen

Our Father, if it were not for Your mercy we would have been judged long ago. Instead, we’ve been given the chance to live a life of purpose. Thank You Lord for Your mercy and Grace, for the gift of new life. Amen

Our Father, sometimes we take our time in prayer as a last resort. We can have the attitude nothing else has worked, so let me just pray. Oh Lord forgive us. Forgive us of our attitudes. Oh that we would chose You first above all. For You are the answer to all. That we would run to You with all our cares. Amen

Lord, help us to release anger quickly and trust You to make things right. Fill us with peace and strength so we can reflect Your love, instead of frustration. In the name of Jesus we pray.

Lord we know You know what a broken heart feels like. Some of us have been hurt by what someone has said. Words that have pierced our hearts. Help us to feel Your closeness, Your love, and give hope to our hearts again. We ache for Your comfort. Please mend our hearts back together again. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

Lord Your word says that You made us fearfully and wonderfully. Sometimes we can feel like we have so many flaws. Help us to put our insecurities aside and have courage. Your word promises that You are our safe refuge. Show us how to hide ourselves in You. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen
