December Prayers
December 1
Lord, thank You for loving us even when we don’t feel worthy. Help us to rest in Your love and trust that we belong to You. Show us how to lean on You when we don’t feel worthy. In the name of Jesus we pray.
December 2
Lord God, some of us are facing mountains that seem immovable and the burdens are so heavy on our hearts. Continually remind us that You Lord, You are the God of the Bible. You still reign and nothing has changed for You are the same yesterday today and forever. Amen
December 3
Thank You Lord for loving us to the uttermost that You died for us. We bring You our sins, struggles and burdens. Thank You for forgiving us completely. Help us to walk in Your freedom today. Amen
December 4
Lord thank You for staying close to us in every season of our lives. Help us to trust in Your presence, even when we feel alone. In the name of Jesus we pray.
December 5
Precious Savior, we long after You. We thirst and hunger for our place with You in heaven. May Your righteousness cover us and free us from sin. In Your name we pray. Amen
December 6
Lord forgive us when we are living in two worlds. When we let our flesh carry us away to sin. When our flesh finds happiness in doing things we should not. Lord we crave to live righteously, but fail big time. Forgive us. In the name of Jesus we pray.

Lord, give us peace in uncertainty and strength for whatever we may face today. We invite You into every moment we live. In Jesus’s name, amen.
December 8
Lord, thank You for planting Your holy seed in us. Help us water it with Your Word, grow in holiness, and glorify You through every part of our lives, amen.
December 9
Father there’s so much we don’t understand, and some of it really can be frustrating. We try hard to do the right thing, obey You, and follow You, and yet life is hard. Please help us to trust that You are in control and working all things out for Your glory, and our good. Amen
December 10
Lord God, Help us learn to notice You in our everyday life and follow You wherever You lead. Help us to live according to Your good ways, trust Your good plans, and surrender to the story You are writing for our lives. And when things are hard and don’t go the way we expect, help us to lean on You as our strength and Savior. Amen
December 11
Lord some of us are facing tough storms. We know You are the same yesterday today and tomorrow. We ask that You speak to our storms to “Be still”, if this is Your will. In Jesus’ holy name we pray. Amen
December 12
Father, give us the desire and empowerment to let go of relationships we know are not healthy for us. In the deep part of our hearts we know we need to walk away and yet our flesh says to stay. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Lord help us to recognize bitterness in our hearts. Remove stubbornness that tells us we have the right to be bitter. Give us the desire to forgive and let go, so we would have peace. In the name of Jesus we pray.
December 14
Heavenly Father, we know that there are things in our lives that have been done by us or to us that we wish could be undone. God, we ask that You take the messy part of us and make us new. We are the clay, and You are our potter; and we are the work of Your hand." Mold us into what You want us to be. In Jesus' name we pray.
December 15
Oh Lord, sometimes it can feel as if wind and rain have come and dark clouds are around us. Send us Your protection and peace against this chaos. Let Your grace cover and calm our hearts. Show us that no matter what happens, our souls are at rest in Your love and mercy. For we will trust You in the storm. In Jesus' name.
December 16
Lord on our "worst days,” we can still find joy in knowing we are a child of the King, Heaven is our home, and we serve a faithful and loving God. Remind us of this. Remind us that You are our joy no matter what is going on in our lives, for we tend to forget. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Father, You are the one who lifts our souls. You are the One who created us for Your purpose. Lord, transform us into Your likeness, that we may bring You glory all the days of our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen
December 18
Lord God, the enemy is always on watch to see any inconsistency in our walk with You. May we be truly holy in Your eyes. There are people around us that expect more from us than from others, for we have professed we are Yours. Oh may we give them no reason to question who You are when we are weak. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord, we trust You to give us what You know is best for us. You are our portion and our strength, and that is more important than anything else. Teach us to be content in You alone, for we know You will provide exactly what we need in every season. Amen
December 20
Lord, thank You for healing our hearts. Use our past pain to encourage others and remind us that every trial becomes part of Your good plan for our lives. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
December 21
Father God, You have told us to meditate on Your Word, and we ask You to help us to do that. We want Your Word to be the focus of our lives. When problems come, help us turn to Your Word immediately. When Satan attacks our minds, remind us to counterattack with Your Word. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.
December 22
Lord, when we feel like giving up, remind us Your Spirit gives us peace, strength, and courage. Help us to trust You fully and press on without fear. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.
December 23
Lord, help us to be patient as You complete the good work You have begun in us. Sometimes it can feel as though we haven’t changed at all, especially when the enemy whispers we haven’t grown in our walk with You. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen
December 24
Our redeemer we believe You are the God of infinite majesty, we humbly adore and thank You for having humbled Yourself for our salvation, to be born in a stable. We praise You today as the Angels did that night You came into this world. We kneel at Your feet as the Shepherds did that night in awe and wonder. We bring You our lowly gifts as the Shepherds brought You their expensive gifts. We love You Lord, Thank You.
December 25
Dear Lord, thank You for the gift of Your son, Jesus Christ. Our hearts are filled with gratitude and awe for the miracle of His birth. Thank You for the gift of peace and love of Jesus on this Christmas day. Amen

Show us Lord, anything we have done that is affecting our thoughts and emotions, in a negative way, and help us to know how to make it right. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen

Father, if anything stands in the way of our being fully committed to You, please show us what it is and give us the strength to let it go. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Father we pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the heart of Israel. For many are seeking to harm Israel today. We ask for peace within her and peace with those nations around her. May You give those in authority, the ones You have put in charge of protecting Israel discernment and wisdom, and may Your people come to recognize Your son as their Messiah. Amen

Lord, we open our hearts to You. Help us to let go of stubbornness. May we keep our eyes on You and walk daily in Your fullness and grace. Amen

We thank You, Father, that You love us just as we are. We know that You are working in our lives to bring positive change. We thank You that You still love us and accept us in the process. Thank You, for Your grace that allows us to come to You just as we are. Amen

Lord a whole year has passed; some of us can look back with joy and have such positive memories while some of us see this past year as difficult, full of pain. Lord in all our situations, You were with us, You shared in our joys and in our sufferings. You never left us, You remained. You filled us with Your love, peace and hope. You strengthened us and equipped us with what we needed day by day. We pray this coming year we will draw closer to You, to love You more. To look more like You and love others like You do. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus we pray. Amen
