Discipleship Home Groups

The Discipleship Home Group Spring Session began the week of March 16 with a 12-week study through the books of Colossians and Philemon!

Discipleship Home Groups are one way that Calvary Old Bridge makes a large church feel small. If you are looking to develop a closer relationship with the Lord and other believers—join a Discipleship Home Group.

The two New Testament letters of Colossians and Philemon beautifully complement one another, gloriously displaying the gospel and its powerful implications for how God’s people are called to live today. Together, they reflect the apostle Paul’s overriding passion: magnifying Jesus Christ as the supreme manifestation of God’s redemptive purposes.

This study is designed not only to deepen your understanding of Scripture, but to strengthen your walk with Christ in everyday life.

Discipleship Home Groups are small groups that consist of 6-12 people who get together in a relaxed atmosphere, usually in someone’s home, for Bible study, prayer, discipleship and fellowship. Home Groups are a great way to connect with others in the body to share personal needs, pray for one another and build deep, authentic relationships.
