Truth is truth. Many things are being pushed for the "greater good" of society. Many have remained quiet when lies are pushed as truth, not realizing the implications of their silence. The Bible is God's inspired Word. It is without error or contradiction. God as Creator is discussed in at least 26 books of the Bible, including the Torah (first five books), the Psalms and other poetic books, both major and minor prophets, the gospel accounts, Acts, the letters, and Revelation. So, is the Creation vs. Evolution debate, just an academic thing? No, the push for Evolution has effectively eliminated God from our educational system. And if Evolution is true, then the Bible is not inerrant, or inspired. Pastor Skip Heitzig said, "When I look at the universe, it's clear to me that it reflects incredible design. And yet people say it "just happened". It just so happened that the earth orbits 93 million miles from the sun. It just so happens that the sun has a surface temperature of 12,000 degrees Fahrenheit - and if we were a little closer we'd burn up, or if we were a little further away we would freeze to death. It just so happens that the earth is tilted on its axis 23 1/3 degrees so that we enjoy a beautiful balance of four seasons; and it just so happens that if the earth were tilted a little differently masses of vapors would travel north and south, creating huge continents of ice. It just so happens that we have the optimal mix in our atmosphere of carbon dioxide and oxygen...It just so happens that the moon is precisely the right size and distance from earth to create tides necessary to sustain ocean life. If the moon were any bigger or closer, those same tides would inundate the land." Creation can be intelligently defended in every area: from our universe, to the intricacy of the human body including our voluminous and distinct genetic code, to each scientific discipline including physics, chemistry, etc. (For more look into ICR (Institute of Creation Research), AIG (Answers in Genesis))
After the mock trial of Jesus, we read in Luke 23:1-2, "Then the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to Pilate. And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.” Despite many in that "multitude" directly hearing Jesus' stance on taxes (Luke 20:20-25), they remained silent and allowed the lie to linger. After all, they saw that it was for the greater good of eliminating Jesus. After a bit of questioning on the part of Pilate, we read in 23:4-5, "So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no fault in this Man.” But they were the more fierce, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.”" This despite many in that crowd knew that the One they accused was the embodiment of peace. Even Peter, who knew exactly who Jesus was, chose to remain quiet, as we read in 22:60-62, "But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are saying!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So Peter went out and wept bitterly."
The number of areas in our current society which have been fabricated and are being pushed forth are voluminous. You might think, "Who am I, to speak against such concepts and against so many "experts" and people in positions of power." I will tell you who you are, you are a child of God, born for such a time as this. Silence in the face of evil is never okay. Ignoring evil never works. We have a nation who is biblically illiterate, who sees the Bible as a literary book of fables, written by men, not God. Many knew that Evolution was a lie, but their silence has destroyed our nation. When Gideon was selected by God, he responded in Judges 6:15, "So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”", to which we read the response in 6:16, "And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”" When it comes to the virus, our climate, cancel culture, LGBTQ, abortion, etc., be careful being silent for the "greater good". Your silence is seen as acceptance. You might get shouted down. You might leave an arena looking foolish to many. But there will be those who will hear the truth, perhaps only your children will notice you standing up for truth. We read in Psalm 95:3-5, "For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land." If you believe Evolution, then this statement is false. If you acknowledge God as Creator, then you can join me in praising our Creator.
