2 Kings 1:1-2:25 | PS 139:1-24 | Prov 17:19-21 | Acts 13:42-14:7
God does not make mistakes. We read in Psalm 139:13-16, " For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them." Many don't like their nose or their facial features, or other aspects of their appearance, but God makes no mistakes, He carefully molded you. Today there is increased discussion, over people feeling they should be the other gender than what they were created from the womb, but God makes no mistakes when He formed you. Many feel that their loved ones were cheated with a premature death, but God makes no mistakes, all of our days are fashioned for us, before we are even born. God knows everything about each of us, and we are beautifully crafted according to how He designed us.
God never leaves us. We read in Psalm 139: 1-4, "O Lord, You have searched me and known me, You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether." Many feel isolated and alone. Many feel awkward, that they are misunderstood. Many feel that no one cares how they feel, what they are doing, what they think, etc. But they are wrong. God not only forms us, but He continues to care for us, and doesn't leave us all the days of our lives. Just call out to Him, for He is there. He hears and He cares.
The problem never lies with God, but with us. We read in Psalm 139:23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting." We must all stop thinking that we are here accidentally or that there have been mistakes made by God. The realization that God not only made us, knows everything about us, and doesn't ever leave us, should lead us to complete submission to Him. We need not change ourselves or reinvent ourselves, we simply need to align ourselves to His will, and in so doing, we will find what God has made us for and called us to.
