Bridging The World - Missions MinistryBridging The World - Missions Ministry

Bridging the World (BTW) Missions Ministry plays a vital role in Calvary Chapel Old Bridge's vision to Win, Build, and Send disciples for Jesus Christ. Currently, we serve and help support over 30 Missionaries and Missions Outreach Ministries locally, nationally, and internationally.

There are many opportunities to share in the harvest with BTW through prayer, various types of office work, supporting overseas missionaries or by joining them for short or long-term overseas ministry.

Our Mission to Win

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (Acts 1:8, NKJV).

Winning souls to Christ starts here in the "Jerusalem" of our families, friends, and co-workers. It then extends to Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth with our outreaches in other cities and countries.

Our Mission to Build
Building up believers begins with prayer for other believers whom God has placed in our life. It continues with daily discipleship, equipping these believers in the fundamentals and servanthood of Christ so that they may "be able to give a reason for the hope that is in them." (1 Peter 3:15).

Our Mission to Send
Our mission to send begins when those whom we have discipled are able to go forth and continue to win, build, and send others in Christ. We are able to send missionaries under our prayerful and financial support once they have been tested and proven faithful.

Short-Term Missions
We regularly send teams (some as large as forty people) to various countries to share the Gospel, love the unloved, and comfort the hurting. Even if you are unable to join one of these teams, you can participate in the valuable work of missions through prayer, or financial support.

Long-Term Missions
Short-term missions trips are only a small part of our overall vision. Our long-term focus includes church planting and supporting long-term missionaries who share the same vision. Currently we support missionaries throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.

Please continue to pray for God to expand the horizons of our outreaches into new lands.

Bridging the World is available to counsel and encourage you in the direction the Lord is leading you on the mission field. We will help you research mission fields and opportunities to serve. We will assist you in building a prayer, accountability, and financial support network, as well as obtaining visas and other logistical planning involved in going out on the mission field.
