MARRIAGE MINISTRY

We are seeking to help needy families this holiday season with Thanksgiving Baskets. It is an opportunity for our fellowship to share the love of Christ by reaching out to those who are physically and spiritually hungry.

In anticipation of celebrating our Savior's birth this year, we will again be recording a live Christmas album at CCOB! On Saturday, December 5th & Sunday, December 6th, we invite you to worship the Lord and lend your voice to this exciting project.

The album will be available for purchase beginning Saturday, December 12th. All proceeds will assist members of our community experiencing unique hardship.

WOMEN'S DESSERT NIGHT

All women are invited to join us on Friday, December 18th at 7.30pm for a night of food & fellowship, featuring author & speaker Jennifer Sands. Jennifer came to know Jesus as her Lord & Savior shortly after losing her husband in the September 11th attacks. Since that time, her faith has helped her overcome other major trials, including breast cancer.

As Christmas approaches, several people from CCOB will again bless soldiers recovering at the Walter Reed Medical Center.

We will be ministering to wounded soldiers & their families by distributing Bibles, gospel tracts, messages from Pastor Lloyd, handmade Christmas trees, and various food & gift items.

As the Lord leads and you would like to get involved, please pick up a list of items accepted at the Info Counter. Items can be dropped off at the Info Counter between now and December 1, 2009. Each of the items will be given to soldiers and their families directly, or used to create Christmas gifts for them.

LOVE IN A SHOEBOX

We invite you to join us as we come alongside CCOB-supported missionaries, Steve & Kathy Yoshimi and Internatinal Discipleship Training (IDT), in Mexico for their annual Christmas outreach, Love in a Shoebox. IDT ministers to hundreds of impoverished children and this outreach will provide them with a chance to hear more of the love of Jesus Christ, as well as to receive special gifts for Christmas.

BIG BROTHERS, BIG SISTERS

Those with a heart to come alongside young boys and girls, to lead them in the ways of the Lord, and impart their lives unto the next generation, are encouraged to pray about involvement in our Big Brothers Big Sisters ministry. Single parents are encouraged to pray about signing up their children to be a "Little" and benefit from the godly influence of a Big Brother or Big Sister from the CCOB body. Stop by the Info Counter for more information or to sign up.

With the flu season in full swing, we encourage you to utilize the bottles of hand sanitizer that are located throughout our foyers, auditorium, nursery, Children's Ministry, and restrooms.

Calvary Christian School will be hosting its annual Christmas Gala at the East Brunswick Chateau on Friday, December 4th from 6-10pm. This event will feature music from special guest Gia Lucid, as well as a silent auction. Save the date for this elegant evening of fellowship, food, and fun!

SHORT-TERM MISSIONS

Missions Duffel Bags
With several short term missions trips coming up this year, very large (oversized) duffel bags will be needed to transport supplies to the mission field. If you wish to donate a large duffel bag, please label it for missions and drop it off at the Info Counter.

In His Sight Ministry
Through the donation of reading and prescription eyeglasses, we've collected over 800 pairs of glasses for our missions teams to bless those without access to vision care. Donations of glasses can be dropped off at the Info Counter.

MISSIONS DISCIPLESHIP

The Montana Bible School of Potter's Field Ranch is offering a six month training program that will effectively equip those with a calling on their lives to serve Jesus in missions and evangelistic ministry. This intensive work/study program will include four months of training in northwest Montana and a cross-cultural experience with two months on the mission field.

BIBLICAL COUNSELING

Many people are unaware that we have a Biblical Counseling ministry here at Calvary Chapel. The vision of this ministry is to help Christians apply the Bible and its principles to their lives through prayer and study of the Word of God.

Our goal is to help each believer build a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ, which is the most effective way to help you address your concerns and circumstances. Contact Pastor Brien (email) at 732-679-9222 to learn more about this important ministry.

NURSING MOM'S ROOM

Many mothers in our fellowship are unaware that we have a Nursing Mom's Room specifically designated for them and their infants. This room, which includes a live TV feed of our services, allows mothers to feed, change, or comfort their children without missing service.

Only mothers and children have access to this room, which is located in our north foyer across from our bookstore register.
