Lloyd Pulley came to Christ in college and shortly afterwards felt called into full-time ministry. In 1978 he left an academic scholarship at Michigan State University, moved to California, and became an intern at Calvary Chapel West Covina (now Calvary Chapel Golden Springs). In 1980 he was ordained as an associate pastor and four years later moved to the East Coast where he planted a church in central New Jersey. Since then Lloyd has served as senior pastor of Calvary Chapel Old Bridge (CCOB). His passion for expository teaching coupled with his heart for missions has provided opportunities for him to preach the gospel throughout the world, and to equip many others to be sent out in Jesus’ name.

Lloyd is the author of three books and can be heard daily on Bridging the Gap, the radio-teaching ministry of CCOB. Bridging the Gap is broadcast worldwide and can be streamed on the Internet at http://www.bridgegap.org. His practical, verse-by-verse teaching style encourages others to apply the rich truths found in the Scripture to their daily lives.

He and his wife Karen have two grown children, and live in the central New Jersey area.
