Over the last few months, I've been working on a revision of my book, Patient Evangelism. In this 2nd edition, I am shifting the central focus off the details of our outreach in the aftermath of 911 and more fully onto the story of Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman in John 4. The book will also have a new title and cover.

In this edition, I would also like to incorporate a number of short quotes and testimonies from real people speaking about their own conversion experiences. What I'm hoping to receive are simple and candid reflections of your impressions of those who shared the gospel with you. For instance:

• What drew you to them?
• What made you listen and believe what they said?
• What did they say or do that showed you they were genuine?
• Did you feel they really cared about you?
• How did their witness convince you of the truth?
• Conversely, did you ever encounter Christians before you were saved whose witness turned you off the Lord?

And, finally, if the message of Patient Evangelism has changed the way you share your faith today, it would be great to receive those comments too. It would be interesting to hear how God has used your life to influence others for the gospel.

So, if anything comes to mind would you consider writing a brief account of it and sending it to me? Please keep it short, a paragraph or two is perfect, no more than 200 words if possible. Don't worry about grammar, punctuation, etc, we can fix that. Just tell us your story!
