July 2007
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Over the past year, God has been doing an extraordinary work in and through the
Bridging the Gap radio ministry!

In late 2006, we began broadcasting our first 15-minute daily program on Star 99.1 FM, reaching the New York and New Jersey area at 10:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Even at that hour, we are finding many listeners are equipped and encouraged through the program! Two listeners write,

With my whole heart, THANK YOU, Bridging the Gap Radio Ministry! I am so filled with an amazing love of God that is outpouring and am praising God for supernaturally moving in my life and in my family's life, too! Because of your special ministry, I have become more inspired and encouraged in my walk with the Lord. It's being in His fire/passion that I am encouraged to continue worshipping in His presence daily. Thank you all once again! May God use you mightily each day and may you all be renewed in His righteous spirit! "Blessed are the meek while they will inherit the earth" Matthew 5:5.

Greetings from Belmar, N.J., I would like to express the blessing you have been for the [15-minute] segment on Star 99 M/F @ 10 pm on my ride home from work. Our Savior has truly blessed you with this wonderful gift of preaching, teaching and ministering to hearts, I just happen to be one of them. Thank you as I praise the Lord for you, only because of Jesus, M.
Also this year, God has opened the door for Bridging the Gap to begin broadcasting on 107.9 FM, KWVE, in Southern California at 4:00 am Monday-Friday, in addition to our original Sunday 12:00 PM broadcast. There again, God is greatly using the faithful support of our listeners to reach people with His Word. One listener writes,

Thank you again for all your ministry is doing in my life and walk with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May our Lord continue to bless and use you in the mighty way you have bless me. In Christ's Love, G.
I recently had the opportunity to teach at Calvary Chapel South Bay, CA, and met several KWVE listeners there. What a blessing it was to me to hear how God is using the program to equip His saints for the work of the ministry!

Also this year, Bridging the Gap has undertaken projects to expand and improve our web site, online store, and resource selection. One particularly helpful feature is our online message streaming and Podcasts, which we make available to our listeners free of charge. These online resources have greatly blessed our listeners, like two who write,

I have been blessed by Pastor Lloyd's messages. Please tell him that [I] say thank you for helping me draw closer to the LORD.

Pastor Lloyd's teaching has always been a very helpful tool in my growth as a Christian ever since I have been saved. Him and his wife Karen are a real blessing to our family.
And finally, in 2008, we are prayerfully considering conducting an outreach to the New York area through a crusade-style Bridging the Gap New York event. God has specifically placed such an event on the hearts of some of our listeners, who have begun generously giving to that end, and we are much looking forward to what God will do through that outreach.

On the subject of outreaches, I would love to meet you in person at our upcoming beach event, Bridgefest, on Saturday August 11th in Ocean Grove, NJ! The day will be filled with music, games, surf clinics, face painting, an ocean baptism, and more. In the evening, we are looking forward to a concert featuring Unspoken, and later, Big Daddy Weave. I will be sharing a special message during the concert, and would love to see you there! (To learn more about Bridgefest, visit bridgefest.org or call 888-861-6100.)

To learn more about how you can support Bridging the Gap radio and event outreaches, or to learn more about stations airing Bridging the Gap in your area, visit us at bridgegap.org.

As we pray for events like Bridging the Gap New York and Bridgefest, we understand how God so clearly uses listeners like you to reach people with His Word. God is using your sacrificial giving and I encourage you to keep up that good work! As Hebrews 6:10 says, "For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister."

Blessings,

Lloyd Pulley
Senior Pastor
