At Calvary Chapel
Whether you are planning on visiting Calvary Chapel Old Bridge for the first time, or you are just hoping to learn more about our fellowship, we welcome you!
At each of the services and Bible studies, we emphasize contemporary praise and worship and above all, Biblical instruction.
Praise and Worship
The focus of the Worship Ministry is God Himself. The ministry of worship and praise is intended to draw our hearts into an attitude of joyful praise and reflection as we offer up to God “the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name” (Hebrews 13:15).
Here at Calvary, we understand that the Word of God is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12) and we commit the majority of each of our service to rightly dividing the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
Presently, Pastor Lloyd is teaching verse-by-verse through the Bible on weekend services and in-depth studies on Wednesday evenings. By exploring the Bible in this manner, our hope is to increase your own appetite to study the Word on your own, and discover the life changing truths that are contained within the Scriptures!
When you visit, be sure to look for one of our pastors, greeters, or elders. You will find them outside the Main Auditorium wearing name badges, and they would be happy to answer your questions about Calvary Chapel.
If you have a specific prayer request, we invite you to pray with one of our elders, who are located at the front of the stage after each service. You may also submit your prayer requests online.
Our pastors are also available for prayer and counseling, via phone or in person, throughout the week. Our normal office hours are 9am-5pm from Monday to Friday. For emergency assistance during non-office hours, please call our emergency phone at (908) 227-6515.
